What is Sanbrooke Productions ?

Sanbrooke Productions is a channel on You Tube that provides everyone on the web with videos about Theme Parks. We upload videos every few days mainly about Alton Towers Resort but sometimes other Theme Parks. Sanbrooke Productions is now famous for it's weekly show about Alton Towers Resort which is presented by me Shawn Sanbrooke and is online every Wednesday evening at around 8pm. A Brief History Of Sanbrooke Productions

It was December 25th 2007 and me (Shawn Sanbrooke) opened my final Christmas present. This was a 6.1 megapixel Samsung digital camera which i had wanted for a few months. I was very pleased with my present and on Boxng Day i decided to go and test it at the Alton Towers Hotels. With the Theme Park being closed for the winter, i managed to take some fantastic pictures on the gardens and castle tour and that's what started me off on photography. Throughout Christmas 2007 and January 2008 my passion for taking photos and videoing raised even more with me starting to film the hotels and waterpark at the resort. It was mid Jaunuray 2007 and i thought i'd do a fortnightly news show which would be placed on You Tube every two weeks or so.

We filmed the first epsiode and was very pleased with what we had produced. We had made a 10 minute information show which was uploaded to You You Tube later that night. We recieeved lot's of feedback from Alton Towers fan sites and most of the feedback was bad. People were saying that it would never work and i woulden't be able to keep it up every fortnight. However this did not put me off and i set out on making some improevments to the videos and two weeks later we returned with epsiode 2 and that set us in the right direction. The feedback from the first episode helped me improve the second episode and ended up being a success. We had 78 video views on pur second episode which to me ment alot. We also gained 4 subscribers fo doing this episode and that was a milestone for me and the rest of the crew.

We carried onto episode 3 and by then we though an expansion was needed. We decided to broadcast our episodes on You Tube weekly on Thursday evenings. We carried on and filmed more episdoes and gaining more subscribers along the way plus people started making us there frinds. It got to episode 7 and we decided to update to a new channel and a new name. The former name "towersnerd" was changed to the current name "Sanbrooke Productions" which was a big move for us with a big risk. We risked loosing subscribers and freinds but we dedcided to still go ahead with the move. It got to the day of shutdown and "towersnerd" channel was no more. We recieved many emails saying where have we gone but 2 days later we revieled the new "Sanbrooke Productions" which is still our name to today.

Sanbrooke Productions carried on with it's success and the weekly epsiodes were starting hit big views and were doubling weekly. We got 20 subscribers and then we felt great. Everyone loved our videos. Even people off the Alton Towers forums who at first thought out episodes were a shambles. I felt great and our channel grew even more with us having lot's of contruction and opening day photos/video of the resort's new area "Mutiny Bay". This helped us to become what we are today and we have being successful ever since. We now have around 80 subscribers, 20 friends, 6000 channel views and around 100,000 video views. Sanbrooke Productions on YouTube has now become the best place on the net for the latest videos about Alton Towers Resort and other Theme Parks across the globe and weekly episodes online every Monday evening.
